About Thomas M. Bonan
Thomas Bonan was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2015, after graduating from Stetson University College of Law. He earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from University of Miami Honors College. Thomas is a lifelong Floridian from a family of successful attorneys.
Thomas started focusing on consumer protection in 2016, and has handled several hundred consumer law matters since. He has argued on behalf of consumers from small claims in remote counties all the way to an en banc panel of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2025, Thomas spoke publicly to a Florida Senate subcommittee and successfully convinced them to reject a proposed amendment to a critical consumer protection law which would have left countless Florida residents less protected. Thomas recently obtained a $1.5 million jury verdict in favor of a Hardee County resident who was victimized by a fraudulent solar loan.
Outside of the courtroom, Thomas likes to cook, raise the dogs he rescued, and attend concerts/sporting events.
